Great railfan action at Wellsboro, Indiana, as an eastbound CSX manifest freight charges up the grade and crosses the CN (ex–Grand Trunk Western) Battle Creek Subdivision at the famous diamonds. Leading the train is a modern GE ES44AC, paired with a classic GE AC4400CW, providing plenty of horsepower as the freight thunders across the crossing. The sound of the locomotives working hard up the grade echoes across the diamond as the train continues east on the CSX Garrett Subdivision. Wellsboro is a well-known Midwest railfan hotspot where CSX and Canadian National intersect, making it a great place to catch mainline freight action from two major railroads.
